Just made this thread to vent. I just decided not to pursuit a relationship I thought could work out. She was a good woman, she was black ( Jamaican American), educated ( SUNY New Paltz, communications major) , but unfortunately she had a child ( 2 year old son).

I really liked her, but i wasn't ready to be in a kid life. I told her this and now I feel like shyt. At 28 I'm starting to feel like this is going to be the status Quo. Life sucks.

Exactly. He has the right to have preferences and he did right by her by telling her he wasn't with it from the jump.

Also, yes the dating pool for cats our age is riddled with children. Lol we either got date them or raise them.

hell no. If he stays on top of his game financially, mentally and physically he can feast on prime women deep into his 30s and being only 28 he can date women in their early 30s who DONT have kids. Hell even in his early 30s he can do it. But again you gotta be on your game.

Men are not women. Our peak years are mid 20s into our 30s
