"They were asking for cheek swabs," she said. "They would give $10 for that. Also, if you let them take your blood, they would pay you $50 for that."

It's a voluntary test (for now) and they even pay you for it. Feds are basically testing this system to catch drug users in the future.

How do you feel about cops having the ability to take your blood/saliva when you get pulled over?

saliva tests are usually valid for detecting drug use up to 48 hrs prior to the sample being collected..

Yeah thats exactly what I'm worried about. I hope MADD nor any similar agencies push this kind of testing.

I don't think they should test for weed at all. Its a joke. The only people that trip out driving while high on weed are noobs. I can smoke a blunt of fire and take a dab of some solvent less hash and still be 100% perfect to drive in any condition.

I agree with you, Im fine to drive high myself. In fact I do it daily
However I do agree with driving under the influence being illegal, because I'd rather the noobs who THINK they are good to drive not risk it than grab their pair and get behind the wheel to kill another motorist or themselves because they fell asleep behind the wheel or some shyt.

But in regards to being tested at a road block.. I dont see how it could possibly work. How can they prove to me on the spot that the traces of THC found in my saliva are impairing my driving? It could be from smoking a day or 2 prior, in which case you would no longer be under the influence.. Just "dirty".
