FBI conducts raid at house owned by rapper Mally Mall

Jamal has owned the nearly three-acre property since 2005, according to records of the Clark County Assessor’s Office.

He is known around his neighborhood for his exotic animals, and animal control officers were reported to be at the house this morning.

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -Two locations in Las Vegas, one of which is the home of rapper Mally Mall, were raided by FBI agents Monday morning in what a source described as a human trafficking investigation.
The first raid happened about 5 a.m. at a home near the intersection of Oquendo Road and Lamb Boulevard in southeast Las Vegas. According to the Clark County Assessor's website, the home belongs to Jamal Rashid, better known as rapper Mally Mall.

Neighbors said they heard loud bangs and helicopters overhead. Pictures of the scene showed shattered windows in a building on the property, and the wall of another building appeared to be charred.

Neighbors also said Monday's raid wasn't the first at the home.

"At least five or six years ago, this same house [was] raided," said a neighbor who declined to provide her name. "We never found out anything about that."

The second raid happened at a business near the intersection of Dean Martin Drive and Patrick Lane in south-central Las Vegas.

Workers at a neighboring business said they saw agents taking boxes of papers and computers out of the office. They also said they had seen many "scantily clad" women coming and going.

A source told FOX5's John Dabkovich that an escort service was based at the location.

Special Agent Joseph dikkey, of the FBI, could only say that a federal search warrant was being executed at Mall's home. However, Dabkovich's source said the raids were part of a human trafficking investigation.

dikkey said no arrests were made in connection with either raid.

According to his official website, Mall has worked with well-known hip-hop artists Usher, Young Jeezy and Drake. He also regularly appears on the VH1 reality television show, "Love and Hip Hop Hollywood."

Mally Mall's Las Vegas home is currently being raided by the FBI ... TMZ has confirmed.

The "Love and Hip Hop" star is a target in an ongoing criminal investigation, although law enforcement would not be specific. We're told the FBI entered pursuant to a search warrant.

The rapper/producer works with huge stars -- Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and Drake. There's no evidence any of his artists are connected to the investigation.

TMZ has learned ... Mall is not in the house. He's in L.A. shooting "Love and Hip Hop Hollywood."

Never heard of this dude, but clearly another loosely industry affiliated pimp in Vegas, who rubs shoulders with the 'stars' of both the A and D list, and doesn't think the feds will indict him, despite the fact he has fukking exotic animals and appears on reality tv, running an escort business. Dude was doing it, to own that house at 25 or whatever, he's my age….but, if has to fight the feds, he's in for a lot of upheaval in his lifestyle. They aren't playing with human trafficking and pimping, trafficking a minor or out of state is an easy way to sit down for about 10, or signing a cooperation agreement.
