New Day broke Demolition's tag team title reign for 483 days
Gunther broke Honky Tonk Man's Intercontential reign for 666 days
Although Reigns doesn't have the longest reign, he does have the longest reign since 1988 at 1316

Kenta Kobashi 2 year GHC reign from 03-05 is one of the greatest title reigns in wrestling history. Noah was the biggest puro company byke then odd as it sounds and his title defenses were must see.

Joe RoH title reign which was also 2 years(02-04) I believe. He defended it against the best indy workers of the generation. You name them and they had a great match.
