What was your go to back in the day? Sony, Maxwell etc. I remember some used to have terrible quality and some didn't. I think Maxwell was the best but I can't remember.

Also how many did you buy in a pack? Or did you just buy 1 blank at a time (budget wisr)

Ugh, memories.

The pink, yellow, blue and clear Memorex tapes looked dope. My sister had those.

I bought whatever really. The maxwell ones above were more expensive.

Later it was mostly the maxwell's in the red pack.

Once my Dad brought home these Denons. Way more expensive.

Then I went to the store, saved up money and spend $4 more on these crazy Denon tapes. They were gray, with blue and had shapes like a shark!

I can’t help but think of Death Certificate seeing this. Had the dub and didn’t cop the CD until the 2000s :wow:

That's crazy dope.

Some mixes I taped off of 105.5 and 89.5FM in Toronto were perfect.

Those radio djs - got it so right I became obsessed with their specific versions better than the albums.

Like Krs' Wannabeemceez sped up just a little faster - the DJs ruined it for me by making it a little better.
