So I’m currently out of town visiting family. Over here chilling with my wife, my niece and my nephew. We told my wife’s sister and her husband to go hang out and we will chill with the kids. My niece is now watching Frozen for probably what is the 1000th time. My first time sitting through this movie and I literally want to bang my head into the wall. How do y’all with kids deal with this? Do you actually enjoy sitting through these movies? Does a certain thing kick in once you have kids of your own?

I had to baby sit my little cousins years ago, and they watched either the SpongeBob movie or a particular episode on repeat the whole weekend, lol. Definitely tuned that out

Kids don’t really ask for most of the stuff they watch in the beginning, that’s usually on the parents. Me personally, I wouldn’t show movies like frozen to my daughter cause they’re super mid and are just princess babble. I’d lean them more into shows like bear and the big blue house, Ed Edd n eddy, new adventures of Winnie the Pooh, dark wing duck, old and new nature docs, basically shyt that isn’t mostly in your face consumerism meant to over stimulate your kid into being annoying and stirginling obtuse

Kids are fun. You just have to learn subtle mind games and manipulation after a while. Not saying it like that, but you have to train them like puppies.
