thats the problem with 95% of hip-hop today. No don't switch your style up, just make better music in YOUR style.

Everybody jumps to make a hit record using whatever the formula was to make someone else's last hit record (ie: producers, similar hooks, features, etc) it makes the game stale. As soon as someone comes with something new...boom everybody jacks it.
