always been a fan of that whole crew/sound.. very slept-on era in hip-hop, imo..

It was the era when the new school grew up and we transitioned into going to venues as adults.

I miss the real original new school club scene from the mid nineties.
It was the culture's most mature point socially.

Then they started pushing that prison industrial economy shyt and never recovered it's maturity.


Thinking about it makes me want to turn on Puba 2000, and awakenings by finesse.
