This is using a lot of computer tools and rotoscoping.
The 80's Anime never used that stuff. It's pretty impressive what they accomplished back then without Computer assistance.

I was a big robotech fan. it was the first cartoon I remember where it was important to see every episode in order
this shyt just made me realize we need a current gen tie fighter/ x-wing fighter pilot game with full destructable ships and realistic damage
