It's not regulated. This whole mess started because employees at one company used insider formulas to play with the other company. That's an unfair advantage.

And it is gambling, but they tried to lie about it. Fantasy sports has been around for years, the only difference is these companies decided to make money off of it. There have been illegal football pools etc, operating underground for years and you know what happens when they get caught? They get shut down. Don't be so naive.
