Exactly. The NFL knows that most real fans will watch no matter what, myself and most people i watch football with couldnt give a fukk less about a gay football player, we'll watch regardless.
The NFL panders to "fans" that arent quite convinced of the product or need a little roping in to get their devotion to watching. So they target groups like women and gays and euros. Its pretty obvious with all the pink gear and gear with sparkles and shyt on it.
