Yeah he's decent so far as face, but what was the deal with him hitting Santa last week. That confused the hell out of me.

Maybe to setup a comedic match with Cena where he throws pies and teddy bears to get the kids laughing

I'm actually surprised how its turning out :ehh: Hopefully this means more of Ricardo wrestling

Yeah i understand it fitting in with the match, but why did it have to be Del Rio that hit Santa. Couldn't they have done it with someone else a different way that is actually currently pushed as a heel?

Think about it like this, who else's entrance involves driving a car every week?

edit Just saw the part of your post where it said done it a different way with someone as a heel, but still ADR's method made the most sense

Keep in mind, Del Rio was fairly sympathetic throughout the whole ordeal. He tried to shirk responsibility onto Santa, but he was basically misunderstood and trying to clear his name.

That wouldn't have been any better. Admittedly, they didn't handle it the best way they could, but they handled it pretty well. It's not like he was gloating about running him over and ruining Christmas. He actually felt guilty about it.

I can't believe I'm defending the creative team. :snoop:

They could of had Hunico steal his car and hit Santa..which could of led to ADR making the save. Just lazy writing.

I think Hunico is out injured i'm not sure haven't seen him in a long time. They could've done the goofy comedy match with Cena without Santa being harmed at all tbh. Santa could just Book the match since he was supposed to be in charge that night anyway. The episode was guilty pleasure comedy so I :eat: well.

A little town called none ya got damn bidness
Should the writers go with Ricardo carrying two roles for a while? One as Ring Announcer and one as a performer? For example, just have him wrestle early in the night under the mask, then have him dressed in his announcer gear around Albrehto looking tired and sluggish. It could be a running joke for a while. It would work even better if "masked" Ricardo even starts to pick up a few wins here and there.

The payoff could be Masked Ricardo feuding with Del Rio. When ADR comes out, Ricardo gives him the entrance, arena lights go out and masked Ricardo is ready to go.

All sorts of #fukkery :lolbron:
