External HD and vsts

So I have just recently got a external HD and wanted to know if it is possible for me to move all my vsts and samples (possibly even fl studio) over to it without having to like mover everything all around and relocate files also if anyone could give me a step by step on how to relocate as well I am even willing to give out a vst or something if anyone were to help

Yeah...create a folder for your samples&sounds in your external & then just move all of the files to the new external folder. You have continue to run the FL program from your "c:" drive tho. Also, When it comes to the Vsts the "dll." files have to stay in the Vst steinberg folder(c: drive) or whatever. if you have Kontakt you can have the various kontakt instruments in an external folder but u have to "reroute or find" the instruments to the new external folder thru kontakt, and then itll be locked in. Oh yeah after u move the sample folder to the external u have to add or find the folder in Fl so u can access it thru the Fl Browser.
