Existentialism is not a "real" philosophy?

Bertrand Russell, Nietzsche, Jean Paul Sartre, Heidegger, Camus, Kierkegaard etc weren't "real" philosophers?


I'm just curious to know if his opinions are the general consensus amongst people or am I just taking the ignorant ramblings of a republican/young Earth creationist/roided up body builder way too seriously?

I think first knowing how somone defined or understood that word "philosophy" would help..

It's absolutely a real philosophical position. Just for clarification, though, Nietzsche and Kierkegaard were more major influences on it, rather than fitting into that category themselves, and Russell was just not one at all, and took Sly's position on them.
