I've known for some time that the director was a pedophile. There were rumblings about it back in the day even when he made that movie Powder. It wasn't until he got caught, arrested, and jailed that a few more people started hearing about it.
I'm genuinely shocked that they're giving him the chance to do another Jeepers Creepers. I love the series, but they could have just gotten someone else to do it and threw that piece of trash into the bushes.

Not sure why they wanted to bring him back so badly anyway. They should have gotten one of those Blumhouse directors to lead this up. Hell cough up the money to get James Wan.
I read somewhere where the Jeepers Creepers movies were basically about pedophilia. I also saw an episode of Unsolved Mysteries where they were talking about how the director stole some of the abandon house or farm scene and the van following the couple from a real event.

Now that you mention it, the Creeper almost exclusively went after young boys. He murdered any adult that got in his way but he only captured and consumed young boys.

Ok, I had my facts a little messed up, this dude got busted back in 1988.....which makes this shyt that much worse because he's been making films since 1995, some of which have some questionable scenes.
Powder in particular has a shower scene with boys that is unnecessarily long.

There are already articles out there about this piece of shyt and how he shouldn't be working. It's different from the Nate Parker thing if only because Parker had a TON of buzz following Birth of a Nations debut at Sundance and the movie was expected to get a bunch of Oscar nomination.
Nobody but horror fans is checking for anything Jeepers Creepers related.
Now the pass that people like Woody Allen and Roman Polanski get on the other hand.....Both of them dudes have been nominated for and won multiple Oscars since they were accused of sexual abuse.
