one thing i’ve learned about the media is that its sole purpose is controlling our perception of reality. it does not exist to entertain nor inform. no, the function of the media is to take hold of our minds and guide it down the corridors of approved thought, in a building constructed by the elites who manage our society.

i find it fascinating that porn, this supposed scourge of the internet, a corruptive source of sexual deprivation, is never reported on by the media. there might be mentions of extremely fringe elements, like child pornography, but the readily accessible bounty of porn that’s just a few keystrokes away is rarely mentioned and almost never framed as damaging.

i’m convinced it’s by design.

first, we live in a hyper capitalistic society that places profit over all else, in which human concerns are overlooked if a dollar can be made. porn is a billion dollar industry, with multiple hands dipping into the pots of gold it produces.

banks, who manage the lines of credit people use to access much of the content, are feeding off this industry. the media works for the banks and the financiers who manage capital, so it won’t interrupt that stream of revenue with any objective journalism that highlights the porn industry’s exploitative core.

i also believe it’s other purpose has been to mold the idea of sexuality in the minds of men, stripping it of the emotional component, shaping it into an objectifying means of controlling women and reducing them to three holes and a pair of hands.

with the connective tissue of human intimacy shredded, our already patriarchal society becomes even more chauvinistic, love replaced by savage lust, romance by a revulsion for human bonding.

porn programs our men to view the domination of women as key to the preservation of our world order. and women are programmed just the same, conditioned to whore themselves out almost as they were sex objects sitting on shelves that men browse before making a purchase.

whatever. it’s just something that i’m thinking about.

everything in this society is planned and carefully curated for the purpose of controlling our behavior and ensuring nothing we do upsets their power. it’s frightening when you take tine to actually think about how deep the rabbit hole goes.

You don't have to watch it. You literally just don't watch the shyt or look at it. Same with tHe MeDiA. Folks who rail against the media are goofies. If you hate the news or think it's mind control then turn the shyt off. In the streaming era this is easier than ever. Go watch an episode of your favorite show instead. If seasons of it are streaming you can ignore the media for literally months assming you work during the day. The biggest complainers about the media stay glued to it every second. Huh?

It's like saying gasoline is bad for your health. It sure is! So don't drink it! Have a 16 oz bottle of water instead, clown!

it’s creating generations of men who don’t respect women, who don’t believe in emotional intimacy, and who believe the inequality in our society is justified.

Point us to a time in history where women had it better than they do now...don't worry we'll wait.

*not saying women have it great now, at all. But this is a bs take.

Act like this is something new brehs
yes, but it requires constant reinforcement, using evolving technologies of brainwashing.

it started with playboy, which began selling the idea of women as sexual objects not as something to simply view, but as a lifestyle to strive for. playboy offered women for you to jerk off to, but it also told the reader that adopting the attitudes and exhibiting the behaviors spelled out in these pages will score him his own playboy bunny.

then they began selling videotapes, which progressed to dvds, a new form of media that let you view footage of women being fukked in all manner of ways.

and now, it’s on the internet, in the form if almost 500 million internet porn pages, 5 million porn sites, and 80 million search engine requests a day. porn has ballooned to a 100 billion dollar industry, barely any of which is seen by the actors.

women have always been marginalized to some degree, but the slow and deliberate insinuation of pornography into our public consciousness has corrupted the concept of romance and the various kinds of intimacy associated with it.

women have absolutely had their identity molded into that of a whore by porn.
