Fresh off a busy trade deadline, The 5-3 Carolina Panthers must defend their home turf against the 4-3 Atlanta Falcons. The Panthers will be facing their NFC South Rival without their top draft pick of 2015 Kelvin Benjamin. The Panthers' FO dealt him to Buffalo for a measily 2018 3rd round draft pick.
A very bizarre move that caught alot of the Panther's players off gaurd.
And its obvious the Team Leader Cam Newton isn't happy about but tryin to remain as professional as possible :camdisdain:
The reasoning behind this bizarre move is to improve the speed of the offense and apparently the interim GM, Marty Hurney thought Benjamin and Funchess were the same player therefore making one expendable.

Well the Panthers wont have time to sulk about the loss of their comrade cause they will plenty of chances to show off the speed of this new look offense against the Falcons' young defense.
On the other sideline the Falcons are hoping to get their Offense back to where it was last year, as it plainly obvious that Matt Ryan and the rest of the Offesne really miss Kyle Shanahan. But it won't be easy against one of the best Defenses in the L.
