There was a dirt sheet report a few weeks ago that said Triple H intended to build up the tag division and get rid of the divas division.

This appears to be exactly what is going on, and probably had some role in Eve and Beth Phoenix deciding to leave.

Looking at the divas that seems to be what is happening. Naomi and Cameron are kept out of the ring for the most part, and the women you have left are not accomplished or strong workers/wrestlers, aside from Natalya.

This means your active division consists of:

Natalya
Alicia Fox
Rosa Mendes
Kaitlyn
Layla
AJ

AJ isn't really a part of the division at the moment, but I expect they will give her the title at WM or Royal Rumble so that she's carrying it into/fighting for it in NJ.

How many of the women above can put on a watchable match?

Natalya and Naomi are OK against each other, but the majority are sloppy and rusty as hell. Layla's OK but she's never been that great. I think they will just release more divas and keep the ones they can use as valets to do the work AJ does. It's obvious they want her to have more of a Sunny like role where she spends her time working with the wrestlers and not the women.
