Eh I can’t figure which club it is I believe it’s Tottenham but they have an all English front office and they’re joining the league too

No the fukk it ain't. It goes against the point of competition by getting rid of promotion and relegation. Now these owners won't be punished for not spending money on new players. They can just coast by and count the TV money. No more great Cinderella stories like Leicester winning the PL or Porto winning the Champions League. No more Arsenal finishing 10th because they can't beat the likes of West Ham and Everton. No more Man City getting knocked out of Cups by lower league sides like Wigan. I don't want the acceptable mediocrity of the NFL polluting soccer. This would be like if NCAA decided to ban small schools from participating in March Madness.

This is the end of the beautiful game as we know it if the billionaire owners get their way.

Champions League is a major way how smaller European leagues/clubs are funded, revenue from it is given in a pot and broken among Associations which goes to leagues to clubs to players

People feel as if the big clubs are being greedy and it’s going to make other European competitions insignificant
