Dirt 5 feels more like a new MotorStorm than a new Dirt - and that's okay
This sounds great. I loved Driveclub and Motorstorm had some great arcadey action going on. I will definitely look forward to seeing this in action later this year.
- Being developed by Cheshire studio, formerly Codemasters Evo (members from Sony's Evolution team, developers of the Motorstorm series, Driveclub as well as the old PS2 WRC games)
- brings to mind MotorStorm, as well as Dirt 2 and Dirt 3
- Extreme weather is a key feature here, with electrical storms, snowstorms and heavy rain akin to MotorStorm Apocalypse
- Ten locations will feature, all with multiple tracks and seasonal variants (New York's Roosevelt Island, the impossible geology of Guilin in China, colourful climbs through Meteora, Cape Town, Morocco's Dades Gorge and Italy's Carrara Marble Mine)
- closed course races - there's no point-to-point action available just yet
- four-player splitscreen
