He’s winning a lot of close sets against the top players a couple of lapses in a 5 setter and he could easily lose. He’s def a second week player in Roland but I don’t want to crown him yet. Getting to the qtrs is fine with me for him

Yeah I think he gets to week 2 for sure. He can win FO but it's a tough ask still.

whats the difference between clay and grass? Does one cause the ball to go faster?

Grass is a faster surface. Big servers do better as the ball doesn't kick up and slow down from the clay. Clay is favourable for baseline players.
