Sasha Banks, Bayley and Rey Mysterio’s promos last week on Raw were all done without being scripted word-for-word, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. There has been a “movement” to have more unscripted interviews in WWE, specifically to give the talent “bullet points” and then letting them work off of that. Kevin Owens is another superstar who is given significant leeway in his promos and Daniel Bryan is another one who is rumoured to be given the same flexibility. Talent have also been pushing for more live backstage vignettes to improve on storylines and provide character development
KO opened those gates:blessed:
Shane McMahon was not Smackdown last week as he was called upon for jury duty.
:lupe:
- WWE put tickets for their first four NXT on USA TV shows today and all of them are already sold out at Full Sail University (WWE dubs the venue as Full Sail Live). The location is quite a bit smaller than most arenas that WWE runs out of, so the strong showing will no doubt raise questions on if WWE will take the NXT brand to other cities, especially as it begins gaining exposure on USA. The events that are sold out are 9/18, 9/25, 10/2 and 10/9.
WE ARE AWESOME!:krs:
ESPN spoke to WWE's Four Horsewomen - Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley - ahead of their tag team match tonight on Raw at MSG. Here are some highlights:

On first meeting each other
Sasha Banks: The first one I met was Charlotte Flair. We were in class together doing a drill and our coach told us to lock up and instantly we just snapped -- the chemistry was just there. From the instant of the lockup, I knew I would be making magic with her in the future in that ring.

Bayley: The first day I met Sasha, they kicked everyone out of the gym, except for me and her, and the trainers and told us to have a match. We had never met, I didn't know her at all.

Banks: I was Bayley's tryout match when she first came down to FCW/NXT. And the chemistry was just right there, too. They just told us to go out there -- I didn't know anything about her -- and just have a match. We did and it was just magical.

Bayley: Charlotte and Paige took me around and introduced me to everyone at FCW in Tampa. Charlotte was kind of like the leader. Maybe leader isn't the right word. But I felt like Charlotte was always kind of the mom of the group.

On backstage incident involving Sheamus:

Bayley: I would rather not comment and we are not at liberty to discuss that night

What does the future hold for the Four Horsewomen?

Bayley: They've all been champions and they probably will be champions again. But now it's me. I don't think any of us are content or satisfied, even though we've achieved so much.

Lynch: Just more main events. Just constantly main eventing and generating interest, whether it's the main event or not. And that's what we're doing. Look, that's all I've ever wanted -- for women's wrestling to be the coolest thing on TV, for people to be talking, for people to have opinions, for people to be so invested they can't miss our matches.

Banks: I want to main event every pay-per-view, I want to main event every TV, I want to main event every house show. I want it just like as the guys do -- I want to have it all. I'm never gonna be satisfied. Even when I get that, I'm gonna want more. That's just the kind of person that I am.

Flair: I hope the future holds the four of us in a Fatal Four-Way in the main event of WrestleMania. That's what I hope the future holds. I'm not saying it's this year, next year, the next or the next after that. But eventually I truly believe that the Fatal Four-Way will be a main event match at WrestleMania.

After a summer of ruthless sneak attacks and chaotic brawls, Matt Riddle and Killian Dain are now set to clash in a lawless Street Fight on Wednesday, Sept. 18, on the first live, two-hour edition of NXT.

Since their rivalry began, the NXT Universe has witnessed The Original Bro and The Northern Ireland Nightmare crash through the entrance stage, render tables to toothpicks and brutalize each other with steel stairs. Dain won their only official one-on-one match last month by viciously targeting Riddle’s already-injured ribs, but despite the devastating beating, Riddle wanted more of The Beast of Belfast after the bell. Their melee continued outside the arena after NXT went off the air, only ending when Dain crushed Riddle beneath a steel ladder.

With it now abundantly clear that a standard match cannot contain the mayhem, the sports-entertainment world is in for an epic free-for-all when Riddle and Dain collide in a Street Fight in which disqualifications and count-outs will not apply. Which Superstar will back up his claim of being the toughest man in NXT when the rules are thrown out the window?

Don’t miss this seismic brawl when NXT goes live on Wednesday, Sept 18! The first hour of NXT will air on USA Network at 8/7 C, and then the action will continue live on the award-winning WWE Network at 9/8 C.
