Outside of people saying he looked like Oger, all people knew about him at the time was he was a strongman that skipped NXT while Nak, Asuka, and Joe were still there. Rowan has been on television for years and fans have been protective of him in the past. When the subject of breaking The Wyatt Family came up most people didn't want them to for Rowan's sake, when Rowan jobbed to The Rock in 6 seconds people were mad at The Rock. Braun has improved in the ring, is a better talker, has the presence that Rowan lacks and has improved his look. Braun can be a superstar if they continue on the path they were headed, Rowan can be pushed over by Dean Ambrose if he became The Miz's bodyguard That's as good as it gets.

Are you talking about when he first debuted as a Wyatt member, or when he first broke out solo on Raw after the draft? Cause from his first promo and look change after the draft, everybody was pretty much behind him. Before then, no one really knew anything about him
