It was an unusually long summer for Miami coach Erik Spoelstra after his team missed the playoffs, but he took advantage of the extended break.

The highlight of his summer was getting engaged to longtime girlfriend Nikki Sapp, a former Heat dancer. Spoelstra, 44, was happy to go public with the news.
