EPIX is Coming to PSN, Free Movies for PlayStation Plus Members

A new premium movie service is making its way to the PlayStation Network later today. Dubbed EPIX, the service provides users with a robust catalogue of movies from Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM. Epix also has some original content - such as live concert soundtracks - exclusively for PSN for those that aren't too interested in movies.

If you're interested, you'll be happy to know that PSN members will be able to sign up for a 14-day free trial when the EPIX goes live later today. PlayStation Plus members will be treated to a free movie every week from EPIX so keep an eye out for that in our usual "Today on PlayStation Plus" posts.

this channel is part of my cable package. its not really that big of a deal considering all the movies for it are On Demand and you can stream them on your computer or phone already.

It's not actually free. You get a 2 week trial then u gotta pay to keep using it. Unless you mean the free movie per week thing.

That's because they have a content deal with netflix, so every movie on there will be available to netflix at some point or another.

Yall hyped this up..checked it out and epix is trash beyong belief..they have only 15 movies on it from 2005 to present. Everything else is old..and not 1995 old, we talking 70's and 60's old. 90% of the stuff is on netflix anyway..the interface is slow and some of the pictures for the video don't even load.

Plz stop acting like PS+ really fed yall with this one.
