:camby:Its time to put a end to them expeditiously. Its stupid, it's corny, it's exposing the business even more, and it's down right retarded:mindblown:.

My anger is directed to folks bytching on Twitter about ROH not doing shows for almost three months. Almost like they know the empty arena shyt is all around pointless when a crowd hides the flaws of a wrestling match:mindblown:. WWE does this because fukk money, Impact gets a pass because lol, and AEW is just :beli:.

Its really hard to watch these shows despite the fact that Impact's two night event was apparently lit.

I just want vindication to why promotions are playing themselves during this pandemic:francis:

okay ... then what's the plan for WWE to continue to collect their television deal compensation that equals approximately $8 million per week ($400 million per year)? those deals can be cancelled if new/original week to week programming is not produced.

same for AEW, they could lose their compensation from TNT that pays for their weekly production (which has been reported to be around $400,000 per week).

You’re not going to be able to have a wrestling show with crowds until probably 2021. No company can afford to take that kind of time off without running shows if they have a TV deal.

And being able to run new shows when sports and other things are taking a break is a major part of what adds to the value of wrestling when it comes to negotiating contracts.

I spared those companies, but it's still retarded despite the Television deals :francis:.

The ratings are really not something to die for to keep the shyt popping:yeshrug:

it's not about the ratings. it's about keeping the lifeblood of their entire business alive. the television contracts.

both WWE and AEW can lose their TV deals if week to week original programming is not produced. I'm sure there are clauses in there that may give them a free pass once or twice a year to run a re-run, but those networks are paying HUGE money for the original programming. they're not going to tolerate WWE running re-runs for months on end while paying top dollar.

more and more sports will be opening up very soon with empty shows. the UFC starts back next week...... both WWE and AEW have taken the safety precautions to go forward and quite frankly they should be saluted for doing so. the empty arena shows may not be everyone's cup of tea, but their financial livelihood depends on it.

While this is true, sports can get away with it due to the fact that it's well sports...

Wrestling just seems like rehearsal. Like how can I get in a zone for a potential 5 star match, but don't have a loud background to enhance the affair ten fold :manny:. It just seems like wrestlers are killing themselves for nothing. Now, as far as livelihood being through contracts. There are PLENTY of ways to enhance the shows without it looking well...dead.

For instance, the Boneyard match and that Funhouse match is where wrestling should be nowadays. Matches that go beyond the ring should be the way to go. As it not only allows the wrestlers to be wild creative, but breaks the boredom of a empty arena setting. If you going to keep on keeping on, at least do a Lucha Underground and make the arena become a battlefield :blessed:. Make the segments become larger than life. Bottom line, kill the promos in front of the camera, the poses without a single soul to give a shyt, and camera spots despite how ridiculous it looks to the naked eye.

The MITB shyt has potential to bring the fukkery. :jbhmm:

:wow:I give them credit for embracing the ways of DDT to get us through these hardships. The fukkery must be strong so we can prosper as wrestling fans:banderas:
