Enormous Street Fighter box set arrives September 18

For the Street Fighter fan who thinks he or she has everything, Capcom has revealed the $150 Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set, due September 18 on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The box includes no fewer than 15 discs, containing Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (and its DLC), and Street Fighter X Tekken (and its DLC), along with a documentary, two anime movies, the full Street Fighter animated series, and eleven discs of music.

The set also includes an art book and a light-up Ryu statue.

And Ryu's belt.

Alongside the announcement, Capcom also revealed some dates for 25th anniversary tournaments this year, which you can find after the break.

I guess the rest of the disc consist of updated versions of the games mentioned above.




I wouldn't mind checking out that documentary tho, hopefully someone will upload it, already got the SF anime series on a dual layer so I'm good

Now, the PS3 version of the set will boast a two-disc Blu-Ray set with a documentary that discusses the series’ relation with its fans. Going further, that Blu-Ray set will also feature Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV anime movies along with every episode of the animated series and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.

hopefully its a remastered HD version of the film and not that VHS shyt that has been floating on the net for years

I'm a little surprised that they didn't throw a special edition TE stick in there with this set. I already have all the games in this set except SFxT. I have 3 sticks and I'd have been there day one to buy if it had one. I'm even more surprised that Capcom hasn't made a box set for the VS series yet.

I haven't played it yet tho, but read the reviews... infact the only SF game I played this gen was SF4, i refuse to buy marginally updated versions of the same exact game, capcom can miss me wit that shyt
