I'm a fan of his work.

It always cracks me up when people talk about the song in Will Smith's Seven Pounds not knowing that it was originally in The Legend of 1900 (The Crisis).

Some of my favorites:
  • Once Upon A Time In America
  • The Mission
  • Mission To Mars
  • The Untouchables
  • The Legend of 1900
  • Bulworth (Theme)
  • Treasure Of The Four Crowns (Theme) - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WATCH THIS MOVIE - IS ONE OF THE WOAT FILMS FROM THE VERY BRIEF 3D CRAZE OF THE EARLY 80's

I spent a lot of time in college listening to Italian film composers. Morricone is definitely the best but there was shyt load of great music for 60s-70s Italian flicks.

I liked his Bossa nova and jazzy stuff along with the "traditional" scores for movies like Cinema Paradiso (really all of his stuff for Giuseppe Tornatore is really good). Citta Violenta has a pretty grimy theme too.

Definitely the GOAT.

Some of his shyts are just downright beautiful like this

....and you wonder why he'd put them in some throwaway spaghetti western from the 70s that nobody's bothered to see

I heard the scenes were edited to the score since he finished it way before they stopped filming..

His spaghetti western shyt is iconic for a reason.

One of my favs of his, that I never see mentioned, is from INVESTIGATION OF A CITIZEN BEYOND SUSPICION.

I need to watch this again.
