spec wise though they are pretty much on par, its just if you prefer sleek look and build over practicality like added storage and replaceable battery and less likelihood of breaking on a fall

Allegedly, according to Gizmondo, the GS4 is a little laggy compared to the One.

The One has practical front facing speakers (two of them) that will benefit users far more than S Drive, S Health and most features shown yesterday.

The One has Blinkfeed which again is more practical than most things shown by Samsung.

The One has Zoe which again is more practical.

The One has 64gb of memory which is more than enough for most people.

Just saying.

Both phones are great. I may get one or the other.

Apparently, HTC cut their marketing budget. GS4 is gonna sell at least 30 million more units than the One, easily.

They need to up their marketing. That is it. A product's success is highly based on marketing and advertising. The One has no marketing and no advertising that I have seen.

What a terrible gimmick. They should've road the evo wave and stopped investing so heavily in sense as if android doesn't have a tone of launcher options already. They got on because of winmo phones and tried to apply the same rationale to android..

As far as design goes? The One DOES looke nicer. If you're big on how your phone looks, then the S4 is not for you. Then again if you're smart, your shyt will be in case anyways so that does'nt matter.

If you want expandable storage like most people, then the S4 might be for you

Software wise? Eh...gonna root and throw CM on it anyways so I could give a fukk less but Samsung shyt did look kind of laggy. Ultimately if you're really about that Droid Life (unlike a namesless poser) it won't matter to you anyways. shyt really you don't even have to root, you just throw a launcher on that bytch and ride that cusomization wave ow ow owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I highly doubt the One's camera is superior to the GS4. And the expandable SD card slot is a nice extra as well. People can just slide their current card into it and keep i moving

The camera on the One was hyped up before it dropped, but it's only good at taking shots in low light which is good, but the sharpness and clarity of the pictures are lacking... they dropped the ball with that. If HTC wants to get back where it was, they can't hold anything back. The only 2 phones where they didn't hold back on out of all of their lines in recent years is the OG EVO, and the EVOLTE4G.

I say that because those were fully featured devices that offered everything the tech enthusiasts ask for. Great camera, HDMI out (OG EVO), SD card, and 4G, great build quality (LTE moreso than the OG)

Another thing that Samsung has over HTC is their signal strength for LTE. My wife has a GS3 and I have the LTE and we can be in the same room, same place, same area, and her phone will be swimming in LTE while mine is looking for it. I have to put my shyt in airplane mode at times and dance with the radios just to get it to connect.

They need to stop skimping on features if they want to come at Samsung. Even though Sammy makes that plastic bullshyt as far as the quality, they pack that bytch with every feature a nerd would want...

The ONE is nice and all but BOTH of those are deal breakers to me....not to mention Sense is UGLY AS fukk to me...so it touch wiz...but GAWD

the Evo was so good because it had both those things and HDMI out and the god body kickstand and sense wasn't too invasive...i can't say the same now...

If i was a phone dropping muthafukka i would get the ONE for the body...but i am an adult....i hardly ever drop my phone...
