End of pro sports in Oakland?

As day dawned, Oakland came to terms with the fact that the basketball team it had supported with such faith and vigor over the years thought of it the same way its baseball and football teams do.

But unlike the A’s and Raiders, who don’t yet have the wherewithal to buy a new one, the Warriors are going to buy it anyway, and try to figure out to pay for it later. All Oakland knows is, when the Warriors drive off, it will be with a beer can flying out of the sun roof and a middle finger waving in the breeze. It will deny its glorious times in Oakland in a way that would make even Clay Bennett and the Oklahoma City Thunder feel ungrateful.
