really cheap tuition $2500 for 16 credit. They have 5 semester so you can accelerate the degree program and graduate quickly. I graduated last year from empire state last year. They campuses all over NY but they dont have every degree program yet. They give you credit for real world experience for ex. if you are an army vet. you have to create your own degree program meaning pick each classes and update the planner manually. A mentor will guide you along and when you are finish with your degree planner and program you submit the degree to the college for review. you then have to write a paper saying what you have learn during your time at empire state college. Its a cheap school so you are responsible for a lot of small stuff. all you do is write papers and do book assignments

Empire State College does not have laboratory facilities. If you need to undertake laboratory-based studies, there may be computer simulations to replace at least some parts of the traditional laboratory, or you may want to enroll in a laboratory course at a traditional college.

$157 per credit is not bad though.

I paid $130 per credit at my community college before getting raped at the University of Louisville.
 in california, JC's are $45 per credit, but used to be $25 a couple years ago...

Not to mention that state gives fee waviers to students who maintain a whopping 2.0 :heh:

In other words the first two years, at a JC in California are free for all residents. And state schools are relatively cheap as well. Aside from the UC's

That's a good deal, but unfortunately that $45 per credit is not a reality for most of the country.

nah, if you are trying to get an online degree. You should try to look for a good university that offers online courses. YOu are more likely to get a job that way.
