Gotta keep it a stack. My general causative thesis as to why this whole country is fukked and getting worse is moving back to because the people are just stupid.

I shytted on Biden the whole election cycle and most of his presidency but there’s no way in hell Trump should even be in striking distance of him after the stimulus, vaccination, and getting out of Afghanistan and after the whole country watched 1/6.

Yeah I mean how long can we keep blaming corporate media propaganda? At some point motherfukkers are just stupid. Russ Feingold lost to fukking Ron Johnson twice. Nina Turner lost.

I feel like reasonable and progressive voices and ideas have become more visible and accessible. People would rather drink horse dewormer though.

If Trump beats Biden in 2024 there is no more nuanced analysis needed than “Americans in large part are dumb pieces of shyt.”

trump was the biggest buffoon and screw up i've ever seen at that level... how he failed to screw up the economy pre-covid or failed to get us in another war is beyond me.... anyhow, when covid hit, shyt got serious.... people were dropping dead left and right..... the vaccine seemed years away... states, even *gasps* red states, had to start shutting down... all the while trump was downplaying the seriousness of the virus....

i think trump's poor handling of covid was barely enough to make people say, "you know what, let's change direction"..... when i say barely, i mean BARELY..... biden won wi, az, and ga by a rough total of 45k votes.... everyone is running around popping champagne bottles and celebrating that biden won by 8M votes..... no, we don't award the presidency to the popular vote winner, we award the presidency to the electoral college vote winner... in the ec, biden won by a measly 45k votes.... and that is after the huge fiasco that was trump's handling of covid.....

now fast forward to today.... we are still struggling with covid, mask mandates, anti-vaxxers, high case loads and deaths, hospitals struggling to keep up, etc, etc.... people thought biden would handle covid better than trump and they were right, he has.... still, what most people will conclude is that no one would have been able to successfully manage this pandemic no matter what.... they'll say managing a pandemic is a lost cause.... so without that, what is it that people really disliked about trump....?

i've said before and i'll say it again, people were embarrassed by trump... they didn't disagree with him, in their hearts they were with him 500%.... the childish behavior, the tweets, the incompetence, the arguing and fighting with anyone over the smallest slight is what turned people off to trump.... if trump simply acted dignified in 2020 and took covid serious, he would have DESTROYED biden last november.....

so i agree, if the election were held today, no doubt trump would eviscerate biden..... trump is just too stupid to keep his foot out of his mouth, but he has the platform and agenda that 60% of actual voters agree with...

now i get it, i dislike trump too... a bunch of posters are going to respond with polls debunking what i'm saying... i feel you... i get it, i promise you i get it... what i'm saying is those people don't vote... people who love trump, who have his face tattooed on their inner thighs, who go home and pray to the altar they've built to honor trump, those people vote... and millions of suburbanites who were just too embarrassed to say they agree with everything trump was saying and doing, would vote for a refined dignified trump in a heartbeat....

I agree. That’s why people were about to try to get on the Cuomo train before he fukked up. He had a lot of Trump’s characteristics without the embarrassing antics (until the harassment stuff) America likes leaders like that. Trump is America in its most uncut and raw form in terms of what we value and aspire to. Brash, braggadocious, charismatic or a slick mouth piece, rich/having f.u. money, quick to fight, taking no sh*t from anyone, street smart rather than book smart, a p*ssy hound and somewhat funny. If Trump had even 30% of Biden’s sensibility and maturity he would’ve been President still. The scary part is the next Trump is preparing to run. And that might really be the end. They know if they can be a showman like Trump and say all the things white people want to hear, they can do WHATEVER they want behind the scenes. We got lucky this time. it's not unlikely that would happen either.... trump with all of his foolishness and incompetence and low approval ratings still got within 45k votes of reelection... people liked what trump was about, they don't like what biden is about... they just barely thought biden would handle covid better.... but people want the country wide open, no masks, enough with the vaccinations, let 'er rip, and biden is not pushing in that direction... so a trump 2.0 wouldn't surprise me at all....
