If you’ve been missing a Gossip Girl-style teen drama about the lives of the super-wealthy and gorgeous, welcome to Elite, a new Netflix original series coming to the streaming platform Oct. 5.

Three working-class students are sent to attend Las Encinas, one of the most prestigious and exclusive schools in Spain, where they’re thrown headfirst into the dramatic lives of the country’s most privileged teens. What begins as high school class tension ends in a murder mystery to be solved.

Only seen the first 3 episodes, but this show is wild. Gossip Girl, How To Get Away With Murder, Skins, Skam, etc. It’s the combination of all of these shows. Rio, Denver, and the hostage girl from La Casa de Papel/Money Heist are in it.

Just finished it and I didn’t want to. This was one of the best shows I’ve seen this year, with La Casa de Papel being another. Spain is 2/2 so far with Netflix.

Give it a watch folks. From what I’ve read from others who watched the show, it was very addicting. My one gripe and it’s not fair to the others this catered to, it had too much homo stuff for my liking but hey, shippers love that kind of thing.

Next year. It was renewed before Season 1 came out but they officially announced it last week. Glad to see other people watched it. Show is fire but it was overlooked by “The Haunting of Hill House” in here, another great show.

Couldn’t stand Marina. Reminded me of Hannah from 13 Reasons Why and I couldn’t stand her either. Just triffling.
