Is the hybrid QB more effective in the long run?
Do you really need to audible Peyton Manning style to hawk tuah that pig skin to the 10 yd line

Elite passing is a component of many things:
Offensive lines are much worse.
Defenses have adjusted.
Teams thinking they can just get any yahoo in the backfield and call it a run game.
I've seen more pockets completely get busted open the last two years than ever before imo, expecting QBs who aren't elite athletes to escape from that and still throw the ball with accuracy is crazy. It's not even a simple step-up, these dudes running for their lives.
The Bucs/Chiefs SB should have clued people in when Mahomes was running for his fukking life.
The elite QBs of yesteryear weren't throwing the ball protected by overwhelmed rookies and garbage bin lineman.
The run game part has had the biggest impact I think.
From a mental standpoint, two mediocre RBs might have the same production of 1 elite RB, but they don’t make defenses respect them the same.
Teams treat dudes Derrick Henry and Prime Zeke WAY differently than they’ll treat two or three rbs that work as a committe. They’re saving money but they’re losing a little mental edge in the game plan.
Do you have something to support your theory? Is this white buls being mad at evolution going black
I personally think it is, but what do I know, two things could be right at the same time
