What do you eat then- do you eat healthy? I don't mess with rice or potatoes. I'm a permanent member of meatgang but I stay away from pork and eat beef sparingly, ground turkey tastes like lukewarm ass. I just ate shrimp, mussels and clams all week and feel like a fisherwoman.
Yesterday I ate figs and bananas for breakfast. Chickpeas with hempseeds, kale, pepper, ginger, onions for lunch. Snacked on some walnuts, cashews, and brazil nuts at some point. A mango. Made a smoothie for dinner but didn't finish it. Been eating amaranth with avocados a lot lately. Sometimes I try to follow Dr Sebi's foodlist but its pretty strict

So. Cal
Doc says I don't process starches well, get darkish lines around my neck - plus they're overrated. I get bloated easily. I won't completely eliminate them but I've already done away with rice for the most part and slowly phasing out all but purple and red breakfast potatoes, I can live with fries a handful of times a year.

Replace them with sweet potatoes :blessed:

I would get a second opinion... did they do any allergy/blood tests?

Yeah, I'm not even sickly just the times I do get sick (travel, season changes) I'm damn near paralyzed from the neck up and it's almost entirely food/environment related. I'm so tired of doctors. Like literally.

Have you done a allergy test? Prick and Blood? If not, that would be my first recommendation. Ask your doctor, to find a specialist for you - so you can take the two test.

Also, after you take it and get your results ask to see an nutritionist.

I have done the FODMAP elimination diet more than a few times. I try to stay on it - but I can only last about two weeks.

It's due to gastrointestinal issues. I had my gallbladder out years ago and then developed IBS.

It's hard to do but it does help with pain/flare ups -- and helped me figure out what food/ingredients sensitives I had.

For instance, I kept having stomach issues - even when being vegan -- the FODMAP helped me figure out vegetables that I was sensitive to called "nightshades" -- Which foods are classified as "nightshades," and why are adverse reactions sometimes associated with these foods?
