I was thinking about how the government, media and other corporations often use subliminal messaging to affect people on a subconscious level..and it freaked me out.
I didn't like the idea that someone or something can affect me without me even knowing it.
So I came up with the theory that it is possible to entirely get rid of your sub-conscious and become a purely conscious being.
Many variations of religion and philosophy talk about the concept of pure consciousness in reference to an enlightened being or deity..
But I think it is possible for any average human to become purely conscious as well.
What I did to test this was to purely follow intuition and instincts. Yes, it can be argued that I didn't have a blank slate, and my intuition and instincts are a function of my "subconscious"...but is the "subconscious" even real? Or is it just a collection of entangled memories without direct classification?
I figured that any reference to the subconscious in actuality was a shortcut to explain correlation between lack of precise memory and future decision making..not an actual aspect to my humanity..but more of a social construct that helps people explain in more succinct terms rather than fully elocute the Truth; that there is no subconscious.
Following my instincts and intuition has been an interesting pursuit to say the least (in my attempts to become purely conscious). It has led me to numerous different theories of my own existence thru meditation, ranging from thinking that I devolved myself into a civilized animal to the point where I have considered that this is what the Illuminati teaches (becoming a God) and that I have committed a form of blasphemy by trying to attain a certain level that I was not meant to attain.
In any event, I haven't felt that I am prey to subliminal messaging and other malicious attacks on the subconscious ever since then. Maybe it worked?
Thoughts?
