Who are the Berbers and were they black?

Berbers are a tribe of people living in North Africa. They've lived there for thousands of years (before the Arab conquest)

Some Berbers are Black. Some Berbers are pale-skinned.

Still on part one so far but a lot of what he's saying and finding out is very similar to some theories I've been coming to as of late. I like this.

One thing I'm not so sure on is the Redbone thing.

I've never known anyone personally who referred to themself as a Redbone outside of being a moniker for lightskin. So the Redbone = Red Igbo connection that Ive read about has always made more sense to me being that it's more of a describer compared to being a full blown separate group of people.

Now Ive read about groups being labeled as Redbones as if they were a seperate tribe, but just like Blackfoot(in the South) for example, everything I've researched so far points to it being another term for Lightskin/ambiguous/mixed/etc that fell under the moniker of "Indian" for the sake of social or economic advantage within the racial structure of the South.
