I've actually seen this scam on kitboga's YouTube channel.

In most cases they don't threaten to kill family members that every now and then you'll get some crazy Indian call center guy that will start making those threats.

They probably wanted to put money in a box and have the Uber lady deliver it to one of their runners in ohio
