Game is still sitting on my stand collecting dust. After my first 3 hours of frustration, I got a feeling I might end up breaking something in my house. I know it gets better, but my patience is thin

:unimpressed: the game has a learning curve just take your time and don't be afraid to look shyt up cuz a lot isn't explained to you

Abandon playing fair and trying to have a back and forth with the bosses/adds. I realised that this game is combining the speed of Sekiro foes with our normal speed. Find an OP build and just melt through them.
What I normally do in games is run around completing every miniscule side quest and all the skill building I can before I really dive into main quest missions/bosses.
But I never died so much at the beginning of a game. Felt like Ninja Gaiden all over again.
I'm gonna restart with a tougher build than mage.

Ran into Margit... at level 11 :snoop:. Checked online and the recommended level is 20 to 25 :what::what:

This bird ass bytch Melina takes me to the round table, I get there, go exploring and run into that mad tongued that I can't escape from. So basically my runes are forfeit.

How are you level 11 and at Margit? Most classes START around level 9. Did you not explore at all?? Go explore limgrave until you're level 20-25

Yea I'm learning this shyt as I go along. I was literally following the flames thinking they were leading me to an early destination. But now I'm recognizing you gotta rune farm in lower areas first. Even rest at grace sites to respawn mobs for more runes. This is basically a single player MMORPG 😄 with the occasional coop. I'm getting the idea now

Don’t even think of it as rune farming, just go explore and look for some good equipment and you’ll naturally level up to where you need to be. Don’t think of it as an MMO or traditional RPG where you run around in a field just fighting shyt to get stronger. Just create goals for yourself, look on the map and find something that looks interesting and go there. You’ll probably run into a weaker boss, a mini-dungeon, or something else.

I love when people have a hard time with these games now

most of the shyt is just patience and you ambushing or countering the enemy
you just gotta read what the game gives you ... if shyt is going downhill... then run

dude above me said it right

the game doesnt care and will abuse you... so you have to figure out how to spam and abuse the game first
I spammed all of the dragons with arrows and rotten breath

:pachaha:

Yea, I'm learning the do's and don'ts. Like paying attention to certain messages, and I always spend my runes before venturing to an unknown location. Actually beat that cat boss in the early dungeon on the first attempt, knowing nothing about it.
Took the fukk off when that first dragon tried to bushwhack me. Thought it was just a bat in the distance 😄

Yeah, you’re starting to get it. Once you get into the vibe of the game theres no turning back. This is a genre of game with its own rules once you learn them you can start really enjoying it

You’ll also eventually find ways to start breaking the game, thats when it gets really fun

A good tip for early game is to explore the south of Limgrave first and then come back to Margit.

One thing with boss fights is that them mf’s are just WAITING for you to panic and spam roll backwards so they can punish you :russ:

A lot of times they’ll have a move or two where they do a big wind up and delay the attack. I swear the amount of delay varies sometimes and they just wait for you to do that last extra roll before smacking the shyt out of you. A lot of times it’s best to wait to the very last second to dodge and when it seems like a move is impossible to avoid, roll towards the attack or to the side

Also dragons are typically easier to fight mostly on horseback. Chip away at their health on the horse and once you understand their moves, find your windows where you can hop off the horse and get a few hits in at a time. Be ready to dip on the horse tho because while the limgrave dragon isn’t too bad, all the other ones have crazy AOE moves that seem impossible to avoid on foot
