Getting good is more than just getting high level weapons. It’s also how you battle and how well prepared you are entering a battle.

You can be a high ass level, with bad ass weapon and still get your shyt pushed in if you aren’t well prepared and/or using bad techniques.

I levelled up faith but now my flame frenzy so powerful it feels cheap

Im trying to get my evade/parry game on 100 before I take on godrick again

Started later than everyone else...just beat Radahn. Should I go back to Siofra River to reach Nokron? Heard you get Mimic Tear down there or something?

Really enjoying Bloodhound Fang. Uchitgatana is good when I need more speed but against most opponents, BF has great reach and damage. Got the VIG up to 40, STR at 22 and DEX sits at 26. Not 100% on where I want to drop some points in ARC/INT/FAITH or keep leveling DEX and occasionally Endurance.

unless you want to play around with incantations or sorceries don't bother leveling up faith or int, go level up arcane as that is the one that increases status debuffs like bleed and poison

also black knife tiche and dung eater are the best summons (i'm pissed I missed the dung eater summon)

I regret respec my character. I was mainly melee strength(40)dex(57) build vigor (50).. currently like level 160 but I've only beaten 2 main bosses(Godrick, Rahadan)


Tried to put more into INT but maybe next build like work on magic.. my bloodhound fang does/did like 350 damage..

It’s sounds like you’re a strength/Dex build what use would you have for int? You better off putting that into faith to get some buffs going.

I’m a pure faith build, about to respec for faith/int hybrid.

My next game build will definitely be a Dex/arcane hybrid

I think you'll probably have to start a New Game+ if u already beat the game. Rannis quest has its own ending

Some of the regular enemies in this are tough. I'm basically just exploring and levelling up now (before Margit) and these dudes with shields and on horses giving me the business

I'm 40 hours in now. I recommend going south in Limgrave and farm/practice on the soldiers of godrick at gatefront ruins. Margit is one of the hardest 1st bosses I've played in any game (aside from maybe Murai in Ninja Gaiden), especially if you are melee focused. I attempted him at lvl 25 and was getting destroyed trying to solo him until I used the jellyfish, and beat him in one try.
