I have started New Game +. Will attempt a full no summons run. (Inspired by what I've observed in watching your run.)
I'm also trying to challenge myself to use a more diverse melee approach. I've stated before that my heavy claymore is my fukking baby. Paired with a dual wield with the blasphemous blade and/or jellyfish shield; I was a full on apex predator in the elden realm.
It's been frustrating but I'm attempting the more elegant straight swords and thrusting spears. (I'm not enjoying trying to master spears AT ALL.)

But, I'm also brute forcing myself to figure out parrying. I'm currently running a parrying dagger in my off hand with the Noble's Slender Sword.
It definitely forces a more elegant and dance-like combat style. Think Arya from Game of Thornes. It's also been brutal against bosses since trying to figure out their parry window is proving to be...fatiguing.
But... the light at the end of the tunnel seems like it'll be a very fulfilling and impressive evolution to my combat.

A full on, no-summons run is exactly what i did in my last NG+. I mentioned it earlier but bloodhound step + any maxed melee weapon is a cheat code lol. No need for shields, nor summons, and blocking only for strategic counters. Really felt like i was boxing these dudes up like Floyd.
My tried and true was the Guts sword (Berserker fan) so that's what i stuck with. Granted there were still close calls vs the tougher/spammy opponents but it was exhilarating knowing i could go dolo vs any dragon, boss, or invader.

If i pick the game back up for another NG+ i'll have to find a new a weapon or playstyle tho. Never really did anything with the bows or crafting mechanics. tbh.

I suggest getting 94k runes in the very beginning of game and level the fukk up. Just look up YouTube videos. I was over powered in the beginning lmao

How much grinding is required to get that? Ive never played souls games before and finding it too hard lol
I never played a souls game til bloodborne. I’m 40 years old. Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time. There is no grinding to get 94k. It’s so easy. Let me try to find the vid and I’ll send it to you later
