It's a gimmick fight. When do they ever put summon signs in the fight? You're supposed to charge up on him with the whole click and beat his ass. In all likelihood you're the last one standing if you win.

My strategy whenever I go in a cave in this game hold block and use that shield ability to tank hits... I learned that after the very first cave I went into...and when I say hold L1 I mean DONT TAKE YOUR FINGER OFF THAT MF !!

yeah you gotta keep a shield out at every turn. tank the hit then attack.

That being said, they're still one of the few enemies that give me the same fits from the first couple hours of the game all the way to the end

Stick with it once it clicks it becomes an addiction, the feeling you get one you beat that first major boss, there is nothing like it

nikka im 10mins into this game and ive died like 5x wtf

are you fighting the first guy you saw riding a horse? the one in golden armor, aka tree sentinel? you should probably avoid him until you can easily kill enemies int he surrounding area (finding quickstep will also help immensely, depending on your build).

also, it pays to be sneaky early. i was on some assassin's creed shyt for my first 3-5 hours of gameplay, whittling down camps with sneak tactics and then taking my chances 1:1 with the camp leader (the dude carrying the big shield + weapon).

i still died a lot, but it's easier to learn how to fight when you're not getting swarmed.

Spent damn near an hour trying to beat Mogh in the Forsaken Depths until I realized I somehow had shackles in my inventory to hold his ass down

You're probably making it harder than it has to be...probably taking on bosses/enemies you aren't even supposed to...

Yeah this is still my issue (I'm only like 5 hours in).

I can deal with most of these guys 1v1, but I can't manage crowds at all you lock onto one person and just get stabbed in the back, and if you don't lock on then good luck landing attacks

Any good farm spots at level 55? Saw some on YouTube but have to do a bunch of shyt with fingers and have to go to an end game spot. Trying to avoid that if possible

Try not dying

Not dying is priority uno. If something is big and looks like it can beat your ass it probably can. Even little dudes can fukk you up if you get overconfident.

These games force you to be on the edge of your seat, especially your first one. That's part of the appeal. So when you come out on top you really did.
