It’s early, don’t worry they are gonna test you and you are gonna need to develop some melee/close range skill. No need to start over. There’s some really cool weapons out their for a faith build.was thinking about restarting too. Also using the confessor. I dog-walked Godrick today… just summoned my +3 wolf pack, bombed him with fireballs while he fought them, and used arrows on his second form once I ran out of FP. shyt didn’t feel like a challenge, even when he was killing me.
I enjoyed the game way more before I started leaning into the faith build. When I beat tree sentinel I had “no skill” on my shield, and “quickstep” on my longsword so I could quickstep while carrying a shield instead of parrying. Getting his timing and taking him out felt like playing sekiro again.
think I’m gonna give the warrior or samurai build a try, since I’m still technically at the first castle.
Also, I accidentally killed patches.
I’m a stick with it then. Got the winged scythe and it def does damage, but it doesn’t let me quickstep because it has a preset L2 move. I’ve gotta get my parry skills up I guess.
Are there any faster faith weapons that still level up crazy? All my favorite moments so far have been melee/close range fights, like the red knight that grows wings.

Ever since I got to Level 80 or so and my weapon to +18 I've been shytting on the game. Don't even let me get started on Mimic Tear...I pull that out and it's a wrap

I finished Ranni's quest last night. Got yet another weapon I'll never use, but it's the Moonlight Sword. Gotta get it lol. Also had my first major hiccup performance wise (PS5). It was in the area you finish her quest and get the sword. There's that spot up there where there's 3 freaking dragons. I'm fighting one of them, and it falls down to a lower level on the map. I was angling my camera trying to figure out where he was, and I guess with all the shyt that ended up on screen, it started stuttering really bad. Like I could barely move. Stopped for a second then went back to doing it. Then it stopped for good after about a minute. Thank God nothing else aggro'd.

Respecced from pure strength dual colossal build to dex/int/arcane dual bleed katanas and shyt is so nasty
