Why does it seem that Elden Ring caught the attention of "casuals" more than Bloodbourne/DS? And by casuals I mean people that never tried a dark souls type game before.

It’s gotten more and more popular with each entry. Just tipped over the edge into mainstream this time around. People can’t ignore it anymore.

He’s much easier than you think if you just follow the gimmick of the fight. Summon people, keep your distance run in, attack, run away, summon summon

I’m sure the open world aspect and the promise of it being a bit more easy to get into helped. People were losing their minds at the red eyed ogre in Sekiro.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this increases Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne sales. Once you become “souls literate” the other games won’t seem so hard in retrospect
I'm a avid BB stan and yeah this game is better. also worlds larger too.

I just beat him at level 52. He was hard, but manageable with all the summons. Took me like 8 tries
1)There was a lot of promotion by Bandai. I don't think they've ever promoted a Souls game this heavily.
2)The Metacritic score
Let's be honest, I don't think Bandai or Fromsoft expected this level of success though.

Should I get Eldren Ring on PS5? How’s the performance brehs? I also have a decent PC build from 2016 with a GTX 1080 in it. Help

Just made the runup to the Capital Outskirts. Such a dope spot. Wish I could've taken it slow and enjoyed it instead of sprinting through dodging arrows and enemies lol. Then TWO Tree Sentinels? fukk off. Hit the grace, then turned right around and wrecked the Sentinels and all the enemies that dared to prevent me from ascending the stairway. Killed the Fallingstar Beast over there too. I fought Godefroy in that Evergaol in Altus Plateau. First try. Claws ate him up.
I'm around level 90 now. I need a few more 5 stones and I can get my Claws back on par with my Uchi. Health/Endurance both at 35, Dex at 55. I'm feeling good about fighting anything right now lol.
