Spoiler: Some fight tactics in here for those that don't wanna know

What a terribly designed boss. Almost checked off all my 'fukk you' checkpoints: projectiles (check), large AOEs (check) big, making for terrible camera (check), SUPER delayed ass attacks (seriously why does FROM do that? Bane of my existence). Only thing missing was putting us on a little island that I could fall off the edge smh.

He's way too inconsistent. Like the run up to him is ass, and you think you have a pattern down, then one of them arrows catches you and bye. Then I thought I had a little strategy down in the 1st half where you let yourself get hit by the first part of his gravity blast, then get some good hits in while he does that big ass AOE, but he only does that (AOE) sometimes, only to bust it out of nowhere a few seconds later. Inconsistent. Then there's what looks like the purple gravity slam, only it isn't, and he comes up way quicker, this time with them damn purple orbs that immediately come after you. Just a trash fight by all accounts.

That said, when I beat him, I had 7 (of 8) flasks left smh. So that run was damn near perfect. No summons, no horse (outside of the very start of the 2nd phase cause fukk that lol), straight in his face Claws (First 2/3...don't know what I'd do without Quickstep) and Uchi (last 3rd of the fight). fukk him and that little ass horse he rode in on.

This game is heavily build dependent

I have a level 74 str/vigor vagabond that STRUGGLES against alot of bosses. I gotta literally play perfect or cheese some of these muthafukkas to win

I just tried my brothers int/mind astrologer and the same fights are easy as fukk as much lower level. Commander O'Neil was a goddamn joke...he was a pain in the ass as melee

the part where im at right now i feel like i would love to have some katanas and sword art skills, these enemies are fast as hell and hit hard. I dont really have a magic spell handy to really deal with 4 sword goblins and a bunch of other wild ass shyt. Im pretty much just running past most of these enemies.

I got 40 vigor and they still kill me in 2-3 hits, sorcery is good for boss fights, but for dealing with these trash mobs its way too hard to keep distance and time spells out.

also, being able to stagger enemies is valuable in these games. I can do it with rock sling when its a slower enemies but the fast joints are impossible to hit with it. by the time im done casting im dead

That's why I've had two rebirths available to me. Made it a lot easier to respec when the demand for it was there

That's why I respecced from duel colossal swords to a Dex/Int Moonveil and Ussy katana build.. Put a few points in mind and got to skill spamming. Still squishy but can take the fight to fukkers before they can put a hurt on me. Feels cheap though, won't lie

Haligtree is hell for a spell users, every direction you walk is death. Its driving me crazy

im level 113 and i feel very underlevled here. I dont do damage to anything but the regular knights and goblins

I ended up using a greatshield with the barricade skill and running through a lot of shyt there Real talk though - some of these regular enemies are still giving me work and I've dusted off most of the bosses

I know there’s lots more game to play.

Just saying I’ve never felt over leveled like this in a from game. And I have not even spent lots of significant time farming. Only farming I did was killing that huge dragon.

Believe me, I know there’s lots more coming my way.
