El Mariachi Trilogy Appreciation thread

This is a dope action movie trilogy from R. Rodriguez. Once upon a time in mexico was one of the best films in a trilogy IMO. Desperado was dope as well, especially that scene with selma hayek. Selma Hayek was and still is, fine as hell. Saw alittle bit of el mariachi. I enjoyed the the over the top action and hollywood production of the sequals more than that film

Read Rebel Without a Crew, great book about Rodriguez's early life.

In the grand scheme of things the movies were just "good" and original, but in terms of real-life, the actual achievement

and its just my opinion about el mariachi being the best by far.

the first movie was perfect and the main character wasnt superman. the later movies might be superior from directing/style point of view but theyre really boring and cliche to me, for most part.

Salma Hayek im desperados dem titty meats
Even though OUATIM was super over the top and ridiculous I still loved it.
El Mariachi was the polar opposite of it, dude was not a killer at all but the transformation was nice.

Fair enough. I Watched OUATIM on tnt a few days ago and the music was epic
