Either the E has huge plans for The Shield or NO plans for the Shield.

Am I right or am I right?

They have been doing nothing besides the same old jumpings, no mic time or nothing ever since TLC where they came off a huge MOTY candidate win.

Now in theory we all know that match was never supposed to happen, the original plan was for the Punk/Ryback match to take place at TLC so it's not like The Shield was meant to get that huge win.

So tell me, does the E have huge plans for them (a Royal Rumble reveal of who they're working for) or no plans (they were meant to be brought up just to have Punk win without damaging Ryback)

I don't think there is any plan for them right now. I mean, they aren't even developing storylines against the guys they keep attacking. It's the same old: beatdown person A, cue Ryback, cue Orton, cue Sheamus. Following week, Shield attacks one of the three. Rinse and repeat.

They haven't even addressed the "injustices they are shielding" anymore like they did in the first promo regarding Punk/Ryback rematch, which I thought was the whole point of them. It's just random attacks with no blowoff.

The problem is the booking. There are no real long term plans or even feuds.

Yeah this is why i`m thinking it's one or the other.

Like keeping them silent would make the big reveal even bigger (working with Rocky/Punk/RR winner) but also you take into consideration that TLC match was never supposed to happen and they really haven't been developed at all past TLC. No mic time is killing me

Which is sad because that match was quite amazing. It should have been full steam ahead after that, even though it was never initially planned. They could have continued on officially as a faction with no head honcho leading them. I thought they were going with a Shield vs WWE type thing the way they had Cole addressing them. I thought management and eventually Vince would get involved and the whole nine.

But now it's like they're just apart of the E like every other heel. Guess I was just expecting something different given the way they debuted. I still think there is no plan and we're just going to keep seeing this until one of them capture a title, or they just break up.

They enter all 3 in a row somehow, cleanhouse and dominate for a few rounds, cue "Feed Me More" see ya later Shield.

You have to expect them to get involved the Punk/Rock match though, somehow

but it would also be obvious for the 3 of them to eliminate ryback all together because he is not winning the rumble, and what better way for him to get eliminated than it taking 3 guys rather than a singular person.. it hurts him less to go out via the shield than any other way

it's kind of inception booking, we think they're protecting punk but booking is using them to protect the ryback

Oh I agree, if Shield got decimated by Ryback it could kill them.

Either way they'll be entangled in the rumble.

this is the e, there are never big plans for a stable. if the shield is lucky they get to link up with a main eventer, get belittled by the ME and be the butt of gay jokes from opponents until someone takes em all out to get to the ME at WM

No plans and it's clear as day. Problem is, this is the worst time of the year to be in "limbo" because if they don't have plans for them at Mania there's gonna be 3 months of them being irrelevant. Which sucks cause they had a great debut.

They should have kept the HellNo/Ryback vs Shield angle until D-Bry and Kane lost the titles to them and somehow Ryback got his revenge. That way you keep The Shield "strong" by giving them the titles and opening feuds with different tag teams, you clear Ryback to do whatever match at Mania and HellNo can go they separate ways as their shtick is losing steam.
