So I'm listening to the original version of fukk All Y'all by Tupac on iTunes/Apple Music, this is playing from my hard drive

In fact, I put this song on on repeat when I leave the house just as some noise for my pets to enjoy while I'm out

.... On YouTube, without any indication that I've been listening to the song ... I get two things ... One of my own original songs on the display page, recommended to me, this is a new account with no history of listening to my music previously on it, but I see my song suggested so I gotta hit play ... For algorithmic support purposes

Next song up, "Breezin'" by George Benson, the song that "fukk All Y'all" samples :mindblown:

I've said before on here that these music streaming platforms are going to essentially be monetizing data harvest activity, this will mean knowing what song you listen to right before you had your previous meal ... What song you played after you got back in your car... What song you played when you were at the gym... What song you put on when you're in traffic.. also they can figure out what's the best time to put a McDonald's Big Mac ad directly piped into your ear

But this not a mere coincidence... My offline activity reflected in algorithm suggestions is a step too far

We are all talking about what TikTok or the new Chinese AI is doing with the data it's harvesting, actually we're not even talking about what they're doing with it we're just mentioning that they're doing it... This is the exact business practice of multinational company Google and all of its subsidiaries, but if they're going to be monitoring your offline activity in addition to what you input into their systems this is suspicious and it should be looked into
