Eddie Murphy wants to bring back Beverly Hills Cop after wrapping up Coming to America 2

The 58-year-old is currently working on the sequel of Coming To America, which he’ll star in alongside the likes of James Earl Jones and Arsenio Hall. But it seems the actor already has his eye set on his next project, and the father-of-10 announced his plans to make Beverly Hills Cop 4. When chatting to Collider, the Saturday Night Live star proudly spilled the tea. He told the publication: ‘Yeah that’s what we’re doing after Coming to America two.’


The Hollywood giant added: ‘We’re doing Beverly Hills Cop and then the plan is to get back on stage and do stand-up. That’s what I’ll be doing mostly is stand-up.’

He always said be wanted redemption from the mess that was the third movie. Him and Brett Ratner were trying to get off the ground in like 2005-2007 and then he actually shot a pilot for a Beverly Hills Coo tv show that was supposed to have Brandon T. Jackson as his son but it wasn’t picked up

Thank God. That guy is a terrible actor and not funny at all. I really can't think of any young actors that could replace Eddie either.

In Eddie’s case I really believe he wants to go out on top doing what really makes him happy while giving the audience a taste of the “old Eddie”.

He’s literally been talking about BHC4 for 15 years so that’s obviously something he wants to do and he’s always talked about how much fun he had doing Coming To America.
