My old football coach (RIP) used to stress “FORWARD LEAN!!! FORWARD LEAN!!” anytime we ran the ball. He would always say look at Earl Campbell and Riggins at how they would run with their shoulders ahead of their body so there was nothing but shoulders to tackle.

That shyt took me all the way to OU.

My favorite player before my time. Whenever I see a girl with oversized legs I refer to them “Earl Campbell thighs”

His stiff arm on Michael Downs is still the best I’ve ever seen. The ref seemed pretty happy and excited too

He played his whole career with spinal stenosis

“When Riggins got to the Jets, he had that Afro, he had this rhythm when he walked, so the brothers on the team nicknamed him Chocolate”- Joe Namath
